Spoiled with indulgence, A date with Dove

Somewhere beneath all that rust, Yes! my blog is still alive.
Considering my superpowers of procrastination , there had to be something impelling enough to bring me here.
Dove gave me just the kick I needed!
So, while I am multi-tabbing between my unfinished projects, bollywood gossip blogs and forceful political updates, I receive the invitation for the Dove-Indiblogger event. An only-ladies event, its ought to be fun! , with that thought ,I immediately started contemplating on what should I be wearing for the event, from the limited (read negligible) collection of whites I have.
Mental note - buy more whites

And this is what I  gladly zeroed upon.

Sunday afternoon , midst the scorching heat of Mumbai , DOVE welcomed us with wine and white!
There were sparkling hats, mad hair and eye accessories and of course overflowing enthusiasm in that roomful of pretty ladies.
The afternoon began with all of us being divided into groups of 10.We had to name our teams inspired by all the endless hairstyles we can flaunt . We, named ourselves 'Messy Buns' , cool right!
And the party started off with a superduperultra fun session of Zumba. A power-workout of 15 mins, under the magical disguise of  simply dancing :) I swear it has reached my top-5 in the 'how to lose weight without killing yourself' list. In case you want to know the other 4, wait for my blogpost sometime in future (Marketing strategy, just finished my MBA you see)
Anyhow, next was a set of 4 'Play with Dove' games . First one was to pick up and throw white balls out of a pool of colourful balls, into a bucket. Needless to pose.

We scored 182 balls, which I believe was the highest, ok...don't burst my bubble!
Then there was my favourite game, where we had to turn ourselves into hairstylists and lucky me, got a team mate who was pro at it! Thanks Navyata
Tadaaan!

I didn't do a bad job either , here's the proof

What followed was a larger than life jigsaw puzzle, which we had to put up on a wall, as fast as possible.
Thanks to absence of candy crush and angry birds in my bachpan....this was a child's play...literally.

Hula hoop! racked my brains over finding the right strategy to nail this one, but surrendered to pure lack of talent. Here's me struggling

What followed was the most unexpected and overwhelming session byDove. We all got pampered like princesses with a Makeover from hair experts. I still am in love with these curls.
See the transformation?? they didn't give me just the fab new hairstyle , but also that 'I am so excited' smile.

and then there was food and drinks, and some bartending...lots of gifts and vouchers to be won etc.
I cannot just suffice all the fun that we had , in a few words. So iam gonna let the pictures/selfies talk for themselves.

Thank you Dove for stupendous evening, for pampering us, for reviving the long-lost enthusiasm to play, for the new-friends, for the new-look and of course for the smiles :)
The whole day felt like a birthday party , a pub, a discotheque, a salon , a mall....all of it together.
What else would a girl want. Dear Dove...marry me ??

Thank you Indiblogger - adding white t-shirt to the collection

Iam not scared to experiment anymore with this by my side

Go play with your hair, and dove will take care
It did take care of me for sure *smiles again*

PS: the dove hair clip....cutest thing ever!
